The types of psychotherapy treatment available from MindHealing® include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Play Therapy. Treatment is humanistic and gently directive. This means that the whole person is taken into account so that the obvious problem (e.g. depression) is not viewed in isolation. While the client’s needs and wishes are fully-respected, Cóilín does suggest changes in outlook and lifestyle to help the client move-on from his or her current impasse.
Cóilín is a professional accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
